Sama Renee, or Sam, is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Southern Oregon. Her creative practice spans ceramics, sculpture, film photography and performance.

Inspired by the meeting of the natural and built world, along with her lifelong passion for expressive movement and dance, she explores liminal form and space through organic, often functional, design.

She is most recently interested in the juxtaposition of rigidity and softness, as well as her Mediterranean ancestry.
